MigraAct: Migration Through Art & Action
“MigraACT – Youth Migrants in Action” is a capacity-building project that strengthens the skills of youth workers who support young migrants in their personal and professional integration into host communities.
Youth educators from EU and South Mediterranean countries are trained in Non-Formal Education (NFE) methodologies, resilience-based approaches, and practical labor-market tools. Through this training, they enhance their ability to support young migrants in developing employability skills, recognizing their competencies, and addressing psychological and mental health challenges linked to migration.
The project equips youth workers with concrete tools such as CV writing techniques, public speaking training, and digital storytelling methods, enabling them to guide migrants in self-promotion and job-seeking strategies. At the same time, partners co-create educational outputs—including a training manual and an interactive toolkit—that provide structured, creative resources for professionals working in migration and youth contexts. These tools are tested through local workshops and piloting activities with young migrants, focusing on resilience-building, psychological support, and pathways to employment. By combining capacity-building, practical training, and resource development, MigraACT contributes to a new generation of youth educators who are better equipped to foster inclusion, employability, and well-being among young migrants across Europe and the South Mediterranean region.

A Glimpse of MigraAct Kickoff Meeting

Learning, Sharing, and Co-Creating: MigraACT Training in Sardinia
As part of the Erasmus+ MigraACT – Youth Migrants in Action project, youth workers from the partner countries gathered in Sassari, Sardinia, for three days of learning, exchange, and co-creation. The training focused on practical approaches to supporting young migrants through Non-Formal Education, public speaking, communication, and digital storytelling, with a focus on helping young people recognise and promote their skills and competencies. The third day led by the Lebanese team was particularly participatory, with youth workers taking an active role in delivering and testing activities. The training resulted in a set of ideas, methodologies, and draft content that will contribute to the development of the MigraACT Toolkit for Migrants. Once finalised, the toolkit will serve as a practical resource for youth workers to use in their work with young migrants across the partner countries.
