MigraAct: Migration Through Art & Action
“MigraACT – Youth Migrants in Action” is a capacity-building project that strengthens the skills of youth workers who support young migrants in their personal and professional integration into host communities.
Youth educators from EU and South Mediterranean countries are trained in Non-Formal Education (NFE) methodologies, resilience-based approaches, and practical labor-market tools. Through this training, they enhance their ability to support young migrants in developing employability skills, recognizing their competencies, and addressing psychological and mental health challenges linked to migration.
The project equips youth workers with concrete tools such as CV writing techniques, public speaking training, and digital storytelling methods, enabling them to guide migrants in self-promotion and job-seeking strategies. At the same time, partners co-create educational outputs—including a training manual and an interactive toolkit—that provide structured, creative resources for professionals working in migration and youth contexts. These tools are tested through local workshops and piloting activities with young migrants, focusing on resilience-building, psychological support, and pathways to employment. By combining capacity-building, practical training, and resource development, MigraACT contributes to a new generation of youth educators who are better equipped to foster inclusion, employability, and well-being among young migrants across Europe and the South Mediterranean region.
