In a world where our feeds are flooded with noise, the “Think Before You Trust” training is our bold step toward clarity.

Held in the heart of Madeira, this Erasmus+ training united youth workers and change makers from across borders to unpack the truths (and untruths) we scroll through every day. This wasn’t your average sit-down training—it was a full-blown experience. Through hands-on sessions, spicy debates, and shared learning moments, we dove deep into how media shapes our beliefs, how hate speech spreads, and what free speech means. But the real magic? It was in the in-betweens—in the long dinners, the laughter, the cultural exchanges, and the mutual respect built among strangers who became teammates.Together, we cracked open media narratives, questioned power structures, and sharpened the tools needed to think, not just react. From spotting bias to defending democracy, from unpacking propaganda to owning our role as informed citizens—this journey was all about shaping a community that’s alert, aware, and not afraid to ask: “Is this really the whole story?” Organized by Teatro Metaphora in Câmara de Lobos, Portugal, and powered by the Erasmus+ Youth and Sports Agency, this training added one more flame to our fire at OFFBEAT Lebanon—the fire to raise a generation of critically conscious youth ready to lead with truth.
